Founded in June 2023 by Anna Josenhans & Ziz Knight, our journey began with a shared passion for the mesmerizing wonders of the night sky.

Surprisingly, in a city so connected to amazing astronomical history, we couldn’t believe that there wasn’t a dedicated chapter for those interested in preserving the night sky!

Determined to fight this cosmic void, our community was born.

We know tackling light pollution in LA is no small feat, but our dedication remains unwavering as we strive to restore the natural beauty of the night to its rightful place among the people. The night sky belongs to everyone!
